In New Orleans, we eat to live, and Eat Fit approved options never sacrifice on flavor, they just also happen to be nutritious! Ochsner’s Eat Fit nonprofit initiative includes a team of registered dietitians who collaborate with chefs across Louisiana to highlight nutritious, delicious meals for those who want to eat clean, watch their weight, and manage diabetes, blood pressure, and cholesterol. Eat Fit can be found in six regions throughout the state and boasts over 200 partner locations in the New Orleans area alone. The goal is to empower the community to live their strongest, healthiest lives possible and by partnering with restaurants, festivals, grocery stores, and products, the Eat Fit team helps to take the guesswork out of nutritious eating while dining out.
