A Perfect Day on Magazine Street: Alex Robinson

A Perfect Day on Magazine Street: Alex Robinson

Alex Robinson is a creator and social media manager. She’s been creating content on socials since 2019, starting with comedy skits & trending sounds on TikTok. As her audience grew she started sharing more about her daily life like where she was eating & what events she was going to. Eventually she became a go-to for New Orleans locals on TikTok & slowly transitioned that content to Instagram. She loves sharing her experiences on socials, never thinking it would make her a “local influencer,” but she’s very grateful it’s brought her many opportunities including the recent launch of her social media management business. Find her on Instagram @alexx_robinson and Tik Tok @alex_robinson.

Our Perfect Day on Magazine Street series features local takes on the best ways to enjoy a day out on Magazine Street.

Alex Robinson’s perfect day on Magazine Street

R&R at Vibrant Market
I would start my day with a facial at Vibrant Market, it’s the best facial I’ve ever had! The environment is tranquil and you can tell the staff is so passionate about wellness. You’re in good hands at Vibrant Market.

Freshen up my botox at Magnolia Plastic Surgery
Dr. Heath and his team are the sweetest. I typically do a lip flip and smile treatment but as I approach my 30th birthday I might get a little extra next time!

Lunch at Peche
A Gentilly Shakedown, Steak Tartare, and a half dozen Murder Point oysters is the perfect lunch for me. I usually try to grab a seat at the bar near the windows.

Shopping at Hemline
I have several cute outfits from Hemline so I always sneak in to see if I can add anything to my wardrobe. Their outfits are great for parties, special occasions, and festivals.

Happy hour at Hungry Eyes
Discounted martinis in a swanky environment? Say less. I haven’t tried much of the food at Hungry Eyes but they make a great stiff cocktail.

Dinner at Union Ramen
If you follow me you may know I’m a Union Ramen devotee. A lychee martini, the beggars purse dumplings, and the dirty mazemen ramen with a side of tori broth will do you right.

Ice cream at Parish Parlor
Grab your dessert at Parish Parlor where they have the most delicious flavors, my husband loves the seasonal cinnamon toast and I do the espresso brownie.

Wine down at Really Really Nice Wines
I’d end my day with a nice bold glass of red at Really Really Nice Wines. It’s a quaint wine bar & store with some light bites. If you prefer a savory dessert you can grab a cheese plate.
